The Esh Group has set up a Charitable Trust, worth at least £1 million.

The Esh Group has set up the 'Esh Charitable Trust’ which will run for at least the next five years.  Each year the Group will donate approximately £200,000 into the Charity and will make awards ranging from £1,000 to £100,000.

The Trust will reflect the culture and values of the Esh Group; a local business which cares about its people, its community, its marketplace and its region.  Reinvestment  in the North East is a long standing principle at the Esh Group.

The particular aims of the Charity will be to fund ‘good causes’ in the North of England including:

• environmental work – such as protection, education and awareness
• provision of skills and training to young people and disadvantaged people
• supporting our communities

A wide range of different awards values will be made each year.  Applications for major projects which merit grants of up to £100,000 right through to smaller needs are welcomed.
